Hadley's blog

Hadley girl, this one has been a long time coming as you've changed so much over the last 5 months! At you your 15 month check up, you were 24+ pounds (89%), and only in the 49%ile for height which we almost can't believe because you are always so much bigger than the other little girls at the playground. Still 100% for that big beautiful head of yours. You started walking at 13 months and "running," at 15, though you mostly are just moving your arms and legs really fast rather than an actual sprint. You are also a climber! You love to sing and dance and sing along to about 15 different kids songs. You try to say your ABC's and count to three. You adore animals as well and are still, a total momma's girl. You sleep about 12 hours at night every night and wake up once for a bottle of whole milk and take a 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon everyday. You are a total sweetheart and everyone gushes about your big blue eyes, big pudgy cheeks, and blonde curly hair. A "total doll." We love you baby!

Happy 4th of July!!!

Celebrating the 4th is always special because its all about Cambria, family, and togetherness! This year, we all headed down and, because Hadley girl, you would not go to bed before the big show started, we all saw fireworks together! Haley, you loved the fireworks but were honestly more interested in your glow in the dark bracelet (such a girly girl), and Henry, you sat on Grandma's lap at first and thought the fireworks were a little "scary and too loud and hurt eyes." But Henry, you adjusted and enjoyed the last of the show with a lot of loud commentary! Too cute! Fireworks are always on the 3rd and on the 4th, you guys were in the BIG Cambria parade, riding with Grandpa and Daddy and throwing candy and waving! It was great. Happy 4th of July guys and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Jones!

Some of summer 2014

Henry and Hadley, you wrapped up your last term at ECFE (a little class we've been in since January once a week for two hours), in June and most of the class reunited for a trolley ride at Lake Harriet! Henry, it was your first trolley ride and you were soooo thrilled! Just sheer amazement on your little face the whole 20 minutes! You did so well in class and Hadley, you did too! We have also been thoroughly enjoying the swing set that Daddy and Grandpa Jones built for you in the fall as have you been loving your mid-morning walks. We love you guys! Happy Summer 2014!!!

NOT our house, but Hadley is obsessed with steps these days so the neighbors have all gotten used to you guys hanging out on any ole' neighbor's steps...thank goodness for great neighbors :)
