Happy HaLlOwEeN!

Hadley, this was your very first Halloween, and Henry, we can't believe it but this was your third! Henry, you loved trick or treating this year and LOVED the candy. Henry, you are a little chocolate lover like mommy and we actually had to say, "no more candy buddy," at least ten times. Haldey you loved it too, of course, no candy for you but you loved your stroller ride and seeing all the people. This year, Mary Ellen AND Abby came over and we had a Halloween feast! It was sooooo much fun and our little ladybug and corduroy horsie were the cutest kids on the block, if we do say say ourselves. We love you guys and thank you to Mary Ellen and Abby for making it an extra special night! Happy Halloween!

More HaLlOwEeN fun!

Last night kids, we carved pumpkins, great pumpkins from cousin Brody (thanks buddy), and tonight, we went down to the local grocery store for their annual "Boo Bash." It's been soooo fun and just 2 more days till the big night!

Halloween build up!

It's almost Halloween again, one of our favorite holidays and we have had a bit of fall/Halloween fun! Henry, Grandma Jones ordered your costume for you and it came in the mail this week. A "horsie" which is what you picked out. It is adorable and you love to wear it and gallop in it. Hadley, yours hasn't come yet and instead, you got a fever (not from Grandma). It's your first fever and you don't like it but you have no other symptoms besides being a little cranky and tired. We hope your over it quickly! Since we've been inside to help Hadley recover, we've done some Halloween crafts with you Henry and you've been into it too! Tonight, we wen't to Blackout and MOA! Very fun and we even got to see cousin Brody, Brenley, Meredith, and Grandma. Friends Alison, April, Miles and Hendrix came too. Henry, you had sooo much fun! We can;t wait for the big day and more fall fun ahead!

Our little musician

Hadley, aside from tags, your favorite toy is Henry's little piano. You could play with it all day. Well, more like 10 minutes straight but, nevertheless, you love it! You don't know it yet but you come from quite the musical family. Daddy plays guitar and a little piano as does his mommy and not to mention that they are Welsh which means they are musical by blood. Mommy can play the flute and piano and your uncles and aunts on her side can play the trumpet, clarinet, french horn, and trombone. Grandma and Grandpa Habeck sing in the church choir and Grandma Habeck can play the piano beautifully and organ too! We can't wait to see what role music will play in your life. For now, we are enjoying your playing on Henry's mini piano. You go, you little musician!

You two...

You two little kids just slay daddy and mommy every day. Seriously, how we ever complain or be grumpy is beyond me when we look at these super cute pictures of you guys. Henry, you are adjusting to your sister more and more and even play with her a little and make her laugh. The other night you said, "quiet daddy, Hadley's sleeping." Concern for your sister! We love it. Hadley, you continue to be the chattiest girl under the sun. You keep packing on the pounds and are loving your big girl food! Still definitely a mama's girl. We love you two!
