Little Pumpkin'

Halloween is fast approaching little guy. It's one of your mommy's favorite holidays and we have been getting into the spirit around here. We managed to make it to the Mall of America's lights out, trick or treating at Nickelodeon Universe with your second cousins, Claire and Everett. Unfortunately, that same night you spiked a fever (your second now), and spent the next 4 days trying to get over it. Talk about scary! The doctor said that it was probably just a cold. You are over it now, thank goodness. Lets hope you stay well for the big day cuz tricks and treats await! 

No candy for you this year fella, but it doesn't look like you really need it. xoxo

6 month pictures!!!

Henry, I should have titled this post 'most amazin Grandma.' Your Grandma Jones took the best pictures of you last Sunday and she already has a few ready for us to see. We don't know how she does it. She works full time, takes pictures part time, and is a grandma overtime!!! Thank you, thanks you, thank you amazin Grandma. (Thanks to Grandpa Jones too, as we are sure with Grandma being so busy, he might have to be doing a few more things around the house.)

Baby Bayler !!!

Over the weekend, we got to meet a very special person Henry. Your new cousin Bayler Ryan Nordby! He is the closest cousin to you in age. You guys are the babies ;). Bayler is sooo tiny to your mommy but was born weighing just the same as you. We can't believe you were ever that tiny. Bayler is also very cute and just as sweet as can be. We only got a few pictures this time because you and mommy are still a little sick but we will make up for it for sure. Love you Bayler!!! ...(and Bayler's mommy and daddy and brother and sister too).

FALL

So you wouldn't believe it based on the temps outside lately, but fall is upon us Henry. This year, it has been so warm outside, (70's and 80's), that we have been outside with you a bunch! You are loving seeing the leaves fly and we love seeing you loving it!

Peas 'n' rice...

You have been doing so good at eating solid foods Henry! You love bananas, pears, rice cereal, apple sauce, mangos, basically a lot of fruit. Mommy is at work today so I thought I'd better tape your first experience with some vegetables. Here is how your first vegetable experience (peas) went:

Baby's first fever

So last Saturday you started getting a runny nose but that was it. You had no change in your happy little self and you were eating and sleeping and playing great. Mom stayed home with you Monday and daddy Tuesday and, sure enough, daddy called mom at work saying you were crying like crazy and had your first fever. 100.5! So we gave you Tylenol around the clock as needed and babied you a little more that normal but by Thursday we just had to bring you to the doctor. Sure enough, you had ear infections! Poor little guy. So now you get medicine for 10 days. Mom and Dad feel so bad but the doctor said that it's amazing that is is your first illness. We hope it's your last too ;) Fast recovery big guy!!! (you were 18 and a half pounds at the doctors).

Ok, all I'm going to say is side effects may vary ;)
