Home stretch stats and shot

We are 28 weeks along already! That puts me at 7 months and in my last trimester. So far I've gained 28 pounds and the baby is measuring right on track. All of my blood work has been great and I get thumbs up from my midwives at each appointment. I feel so fortunate that this pregnancy has been going so well. If I had one complaint, it would be my rib pain. Ouch. Our midwife said there isn't much I can do but to try to sit and stand up straight. Thanks for the posture practice baby ;) Our one hiccup this pregnancy has been our blood types. Nate is O + and I am A -. That means that I don't have Rh antibodies in my blood and if the baby has a + blood type and his blood somehow mixes with mine, during the delivery for example, my body will start making antibodies against that + blood type to destroy it. It shouldn't effect this pregnancy but could effect future ones. Luckily, there is a shot out there that negative blood type moms like me can get to prevent any complications. It's called Rho(D) Immune Globulin and that is what I got today. I will need one more shot after the birth but that's it. Easy enough. Here's hoping for a smooth last few months.
