Oh my gosh Henry David, you have had quite the week!!! Aside from starting daycare (no pics yet), which was major, your family managed to fit in a few fun times as well. We started the week off by going to the zoo! It was your first time. Such a great day with everyone. You really seamed to like it there and were such a good baby. This week also brought another first...your first solids! You tried a little rice cereal. You can't quite get it down yet but you really like it. You wiggle your hands and feet and grunt for more after each practice bite. We will try again in about a week and see how you do then. You continue to practice rolling over, you've gone 3 times front to back. We also played with some bubbles at bath time tonight. You were very interested in them. More fun ahead!

the latest
Your awesome Grandma and Grandpa Jones came up to watch you today and boy did you keep them busy. I think you tired your Grandpa right out ;) Not surprising, as you have been a busy little fella lately! Trying to roll, working on your speech, sucking on everything including your lip and drooling like crazy! I can imagine you are only going to get busier. Next time we will stock the Diet Pepsi Grandpa. Thanks for the great day with Henry! Here are some of his latest pics:
Thank you note for Grandma and Grandpa! |

Ruff life?
Your brother from a totally different mother: GUS! Gus was our only little guy until you came along Henry. We kinda spoiled him I think. He is trying his hardest to adjust to life since you came into this world. He is even reading up on how to play with you. He can't wait until you are big enough! Until then, Gus will just have to patient, (and so will we ;).
"Just leave me alone then." |
"Forgot to take me along again?" |
"Gotta share all my snuggles now." |
"O.K., let me figure this baby thing out." |
"Never mind. I give up." |
"Look! I cleaned up all my toys to help out." |
"Is this baby ever going to sleep through the night? I'm pooped!" |
*Snore* |
"Mine, not Henry's." |
"Worlds saddest bulldog. Can't ya tell?" |
"I've been doing tummy time my whole life. Big deal." |
"This used to be my room. I sleep in here if I want to." Will Gus survive? Geez. Time will tell. |

Grandma Jones' latest photos
So your awesome Grandma Jones has her own blog where she posts the pictures she takes, including the ones of you. Mommy forgets sometimes to put those same pictures here on your blog Henry. No longer my son. Here are the latest sweet shots she got of you. Thank you Grandma!

Happy 4th of July Henry!
In our humble opinion, there are few things in life that beat a Cambria 3rd/4th of July celebration. This year buddy, you got to be part of the festivities too! You even got to be in the big Cambria parade!!! You soaked it all in and got bunches of love from all who attended. You are so fortunate to have such awesome Grandparents to help make it such an awesome couple days. Happy first 4th baby!
