Big Trip To Grandma and Grandpa H's

At the age of 2 months and 1 day, you had your first big road trip! You, Mommy, and Dad drove all the way to Caladonia, WI to visit your Grandma and Grandpa Habeck. That's 371 miles. You traveled soooo well! We only had to stop 2 times on the way there, and 2 times on the way back for you to eat and have a little stretch. Grandma and Grandpa loved seeing you and think that you are just the cutest. You really impressed them with your sweet little temperament and your adorable smile. We will have to visit again soon, but maybe not during storm season. On the way home, we had to find a basement to keep you safe from the area tornado's going on!!! Wild.
When you weren't sleeping, you were giving Mommy big giggles and smiles on  the road.

Excited to see Grandma and Grandpa.

Little food and stretch break on the way there.

Sleeping in on Saturday after the big travel day Friday. (Don't worry, you sleep in a pack and play at the bedside. This is just how you snooze before really getting up.)

Grandma made us yummy breakfasts both mornings we were there.

We took a road trip tour of nearby Racine, Lake Michigan and Milwaukee . It was rainy so most of our tour was by car and pictures taken out of the window. This bakery is famous for it's Kringle. So famous, that President Obama visited it!

Dad and Mommy ran inside and had to pick up a famous Kringle for ourselves.

Lake Michigan

Lighthouse in Racine, on the lake.

Milwaukee, WI (though this shot was taken on the way home when it wasn't raining).

You and your Grandma and Grandpa H.

Mommy, Dad, and you, on Grandma's porch.

You and Mommy, with her Mom and Dad!

I think you were thinking, "Are we home yet ?" But you didn't cry the whole way.

Here we are in the basement of a bar/restaurant while the tornado passed by .  Mom is soaked !  Thank you Dad for getting us to some shelter. It was scary for a while there. What a trip!
