First haircut, and possibly the last.

On Tuesday, Daddy and Mommy took you took get your haircut for the very first time. We were so excited. Mom put you in a cute outfit and made sure to bring the camera and even spent some time googling a fun place for kids to go to get their haircut. We went to Kids Hair Inc in Edina and sure enough, it was cute and very kid friendly. They were able to take you right away. Daddy put you in the barber chair and mommy got the camera out. The stylist put the drape on you and just like that, the tears began. YOU HATED EVERY SECOND OF IT. Mom had to hold you the whole time (5 minutes that felt like 5 hours). Even with the sucker and bubbles and songs and dancing you just did not like it. Nevertheless, the hair got cut and you look really cute. Unfortunately, the best picture of you with the haircut is from yesterday which was quite possibly your worst day on earth yet. You fussed all day long and barely ate or slept and you had so much drool that we couldn't keep you dry for a minute. Today:new teeth. Geesh. Rough few days.

Sandbox!

Nearly everyday, you and mommy have been going to the park and different playgrounds. You love climbing around on things, and swinging, and seeing all the kids, but you especially enjoy digging in the sand! So yesterday, off we went to buy you a sandbox. You love it and play in it like crazy and mom loves watching you while sitting on the deck with her coffee, messy hair and sweatpants in the mornings. Worth every penny ;)

"ot, ot, ot"

It has been pretty hot ("ot," to you), out these last few days and luckily, on the last trip to Babies R' Us, mom and dad bought a baby pool for you Henry! Even though the water was frigid, you hopped right in after a few splashes. You are so brave and tough buddy. Can't wait for more pool fun in the future! Oh, and daddy gave you a Popsicle today when mom wasn't looking. Daddy said, "made with real fruit," and you loved it so it looks like more Popsicles are in your future too ;)
