Habeck Grandparents visit

Over the weekend, your Grandma and Grandpa Habeck came to visit. They were here for just 25 hours but we made it count. You, and Grandma, and Grandpa, played and played on Saturday. You showed them how you are starting to walk. They were amazed. On Sunday, we went to Target where they bought you a little ball. You think its very fun to try and kick the ball and chase it while you hold someone's hand. You love your new ball. Thanks for the visit guys!

Splish Splash!

This past Sunday, we spent an incredible day and night with Grandma and Grandpa Jones, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Meredith, and cousins Brody, Brenley, and Bayler. We stayed at an awesome Holiday Inn that had a great water park in it! Daddy and I had a feeling that you would love it. You have been splashing like crazy in your bath every night and sure enough, you did the same at the water park. You also enjoyed drenching yourself with your sippy cup, taking a bath after the pool, eating dinner on your portable high chair, helping Meredith pick out a pizza place from the yellow pages, and playing around the hotel room and with your cousins. Thank you soooo much Grandma and Grandpa! What a blast!

10 months, for one more day...,

Well sweetie, tomorrow you turn 11 months old! It's crazy, how time flies. 10 months was a big one for you. You took your very first steps! You are up to 3 in a row, a few times a day. Your favorite way to walk though, is holding on to mom's legs. You would walk around like that all day if you could. You are still working on your words and you love your Daddy and dog, Gus. You are also especially fond of the mail slot, the kitchen cupboard, your truck, walker wagon and dragon, and definitely books. Favorite foods are shaved chicken, pizza crust, and, of course, cottage cheese (you do eat your fruits, veggies, and whole grains every day too ;). Can't wait to see what 11 months brings! Love you, big boy.

Sea Life >O

Yesterday, you, and mommy, and daddy, all went to the Mall of America's underwater attraction called Sea Life. It was your first time and you really, really liked it. You especially liked the sea urchins and star fish that you could touch. Daddy and I had an equally good time, so we bought an annual membership! Now we can go anytime we want and bring friends at a discount. We will certainly visit Sea Life again soon.

These two

So you and your dog Gus, are pretty much best pals. You think that Gus is sooooo funny and love to give him all of your toys. Gus loves to try chewing on all of them too. This a a little frustrating for mommy, but I'll live :). Daddy and I are happy that you two get along and have each other to play with...(I guess).
