Your week in pictures

This past week really feels like a blur. Feeding, after diaper change, after feeding. You must be having a little growth spurt Henry. In fact, today Mommy packed up all of your newborn clothes in exchange for 0-3 month stuff. I held back the tears and had to take little breaks to hold you, my little baby boy. We did manage to take a few pictures of what you've been up to otherwise. Pretty cute.

Happy Easter Henry !

Your very first holiday, and what a wonderful time we all had! Peter Cottontail hopped down the bunny trail and over to a bunch of your family members to drop off Easter gifts for you, you lucky little guy. You were also lucky enough to have an Easter photo shoot with Grandma yesterday where she got some priceless shots. You spent Easter day by first, waking up to eat every 2 hours overnight...yep, then attending Easter church, then watching your cousins Brody and Brenley have a little Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Jones', followed by a little Jesus Christ Superstar before heading over to Dad's cousins house for Easter lunch extravaganza. There you got to meet Dad's cousin Beth who is visiting all the way from Switzerland! What a fun day!!!

Without further delay

If you look back at one of our first blog posts, you will see that we talked about Dad getting a start on your bedroom. We had it almost totally done but you decided to come a little early. In fact, your Dad's cousin Amy was suppose to come to finish it the very same day that you were born! She promised us murals on your walls for your baby shower gift. Well yesterday, and today she came over and boy, oh boy, Henry ... did she ever deliver. We couldn't be happier and it turned out cuter than we even imagined it. We know you love it too! THANK YOU AMY!!!
Hugs for Amy and Dad

4 weeks old already!

We can't believe that you are 28 days old today. It's hard to bare how quickly you are growing but each day you get cuter and cuter and we've started to notice a few other changes too. You still primarily eat and sleep but you are starting to have more awake times where you like checking out your toys. We also still give you daily "tummy time." You are getting better at it but still don't like it. Maybe by next week you will have changed your mind ;)

First visit to Grandma and Grandpa's!

Such a little baby, such a big weekend! We visited your Grandma and Grandpa Jones in Cambria, where your dad grew up, for the first time this past weekend Henry. You were such a good boy and traveled so well. We are so proud. Grandma and Grandpa were so happy to have us visiting and couldn't get enough of you. On Sunday we went to your cousin Brody's birthday party. All had a great time and you were able to meet a bunch of family that hadn't met you yet. You got a bunch of snuggles, compliments and presents! You were especially loved by your little cousins Brody and Brenley who were very interested in you. It's going to be so fun watching you all grow up together. We can't wait to visit again!
