jeez
Wow! As Heidi said, the baby got plenty of Xmas gifts. Here's a look at his closet. Thanks Meredith and Ryan for the 4 D imaging gift. I think it's pretty freaky ;) but it will be cool to get another look at the little guy before he is actually here... Here's to hoping they were right on the gender!
A Very Merry Christmas
(Warning: Pregnancy hormones are through the roof these days so the following may be a little sappy.) Nate, Gus, and I celebrated our last Christmas together without a little one in tow, though technically he is already with us. We had 3 family Christmases in 24 hours. It was a whirlwind of love, gifts, thanks, and for me, tears. We are overcome with gratefulness as we reflect on all the wonderful family and friends we have and all of the great gifts we received. Nate's Mom and Dad, gave us a new laptop computer which is making this new blog entry super easy. Thank you! One of my favorite gifts was from Nate's sister Meredith and her family. She gave us a gift certificate to an ultrasound 4 D imaging place so we get to see the baby again before he is born. Can't wait! We received tons of other great stuff so thanks to everyone again. And thank you very much on behalf of our baby, who did especially well this Christmas. His little nursery and closet are definitely making progress toward being all ready for him when the time comes. We love you all.

The other member of the Jones family
to go
potty outside
today in this?
YEP!
What a snow day we are having here today. I am keeping myself and therefore the baby warm by staying in today but some of us, (our English bulldog Gus), need to go outside at times and that means...well, you can see what Nate had to do. Brrrr.
Attn: DIY network
Work has officially begun on the nursery. I worked most of last weekend and Nate got the taping and first few coats of paint down. We still have a way to go but it feels good to get started, (nesting). We will post a before and after pic when we are all through. Way to go daddy Nate!
Grand finale shower gifts
As most of you know, Nate is finishing up college to become a certified occupational therapy assistant. These cute onesies didn't quite make it in time for Nate's baby shower but his classmates gave them to him when they arrived in the mail. How cute! Thanks again.

Baby's First Shower
Nate was thrown a surprise baby shower yesterday by his classmates. They made him a cake and everything. It is the first shower Nate has ever gotten and he just couldn't believe it. The baby is well on his way to getting everything he needs and more for a great start. Thank you ladies!

Getting ready for Xmas
I put the Christmas lights up a few weeks ago when we were having such nice weather. Last week I found out a squirrel had chewed through my last two sections of lights. Heidi bought two new sections of LED white lights last week. It was kind of nice out today so I decided I better get it done. All in all it went pretty well besides almost falling to the ground twice. Plugging them in tonight I realized another issue...
Ultrasound pic at 19 weeks.
Here is what we know about our baby (possibly Henry) so far. He is a boy. Everything looks "normal" as far as measurements go. If anything, he is a little on the big size, weird. We also know that he is very active. The ultrasound tech called him an acrobat when we went in for our 12 week appointment. Heidi feels him move quite a bit and I felt him move at 19 weeks!
Our growing baby.
Grandma Jones got the camera out and took our first official "family" picture. Heidi is 22 weeks along already. So far so good.
Here we go. . .
After some coaxing from family and friends we have finally decided to start this blog business.
