Our little musician

Hadley, aside from tags, your favorite toy is Henry's little piano. You could play with it all day. Well, more like 10 minutes straight but, nevertheless, you love it! You don't know it yet but you come from quite the musical family. Daddy plays guitar and a little piano as does his mommy and not to mention that they are Welsh which means they are musical by blood. Mommy can play the flute and piano and your uncles and aunts on her side can play the trumpet, clarinet, french horn, and trombone. Grandma and Grandpa Habeck sing in the church choir and Grandma Habeck can play the piano beautifully and organ too! We can't wait to see what role music will play in your life. For now, we are enjoying your playing on Henry's mini piano. You go, you little musician!

You two...

You two little kids just slay daddy and mommy every day. Seriously, how we ever complain or be grumpy is beyond me when we look at these super cute pictures of you guys. Henry, you are adjusting to your sister more and more and even play with her a little and make her laugh. The other night you said, "quiet daddy, Hadley's sleeping." Concern for your sister! We love it. Hadley, you continue to be the chattiest girl under the sun. You keep packing on the pounds and are loving your big girl food! Still definitely a mama's girl. We love you two! 2 weekends south including Maizie's wedding!

  The last two weekends that mommy hasn't worked, we have packed up and visited grandma and Grandpa Jones! It has been so much fun. Henry, it's your favorite place to go! Hadley, you like it to but are quite the mommy's girl these days so don't go to far from mom's arms or sight for to long but it's great for you to see, and be seen, by those that love you most ;). This past weekend was daddy's cousin Maizie's wedding. Mom tried to take pictures but that's pretty tricky to do while holding you Hadley. Nevertheless, here are a few pictures from the past two weekends south:

Hadley,6 months!

Hadley Elizabeth, you turn 7 months old tomorrow and before that happens, mommy just had to write a quick blog about your 6 monthedness and show two pictures that Grandma took of you for your 6 month photo shoot. You continue to be very chatty and go, ga, da, ah, ma, ma, ma most of the day away. I'm convinced that your first word is mum, mum mum, meaning mommy and when you say it you mean mommy. I absolutely love it! You roll both ways but still not very much but can sit on your own for a little bit. You really like tags and will find them on anything that has one give that tag a taste. You've started some solid food and eat 3 meals a day with  the family. So far, you like all of your baby food. You still let mommy nurse you but during the day you are so distracted, usually by silly Henry, that you've become quite the night time eater. Thank goodness you and Henry take about a two hour nap in the afternoon daily and you also take a morning nap too. You wear size 4 diapers (since 5 months), and are growing out of your 9 month clothes! My big girl. We love you sweetie pie! 

6 month stats: 18 lbs, 4 ounces (86%ile), 27 inches (87%ile), OFC 18 inches (99%ile)

Gwandma, Gwandpa's house

Daily Henry, you tell mommy and daddy that you are either going to "Gwandma, Gwandpa's house," or ask if we are going there. When you push around your cars and trunks and tractors you say " they going to Gwandma's", or "Gwandpa's." So cute and a little sad that we don't live closer. We are trying to go visit them as often as possible and two weekends ago, we visited again. Four wheel rides, fun with Grandma and Granpda were definitely had and we were even able to spend a little time with cousin Brody! We went swimming in New Ulm and ate a Happy Joes. We had a great time and get to visit again this weekend. Can't Wait! Hadley, you did great too :)
