Wow Henry, three Christmases in 24 hours. A whirlwind of joy! First, it was Christmas Eve church in Lake Crystal followed by dinner and present opening at Great Grandpa Clair's. Then, to Grandma and Grandpa Joneses for a quick nights sleep before Christmas morning festivities at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Meredith's house for the Jones side of the family Christmas. After an afternoon nap, it was finally time for immediate family Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's. That's Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Jones, Grandpa Jones, Ryan, Meredith, Brody, Brenley, and this year the two babies...you and Bayler. It was a wonderful, wonderful weekend and our first Christmas couldn't have been better! We are so grateful for everyone's generosity and love. Tonight we will do our first little family Christmas at home and with that, wrap up your first Christmas. We love you sweet boy!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We are sooooo excited for your first Christmas Henry! We have been Chritmassing it up around our house. Decorating, tree trimming, listening to Christmas music (hours and hours a day ;), watching Christmas movies, and even seeing Santa twice and riding a Christmas choo choo. Just a few days now till Christmas and it's going to be so great, especially now that you are all better. Here are a few pictures of the holiday fun we've been having.

"Look ma...no hands!"
You continue with your speedy development Henry. Mommy can hardly keep up! You were being extra cute yesterday so I got out the camera and what did you do? Well, the proof is in the pictures. You are amazing buddy. Even more amazing is that you did this while sick. You came down with the croup on tuesday. It's been scary and awful but you are a fighter. Now just get well soon because Christmas is coming! xoxo
You ended up in the laundry basket after about 3 seconds of standing. A nice, soft fall ;) |
Our croup photo of you. Poor guy. |

8 months old
Henry, no other month has brought on so many changes than this 8th month for you fella. The biggest things are that you have started to army crawl (almost full crawl but not quite), you pull yourself up to a stand and stand holding on with one hand. You have said your first word, "Da da," and we think that you try to say Gus but it comes out more like "us, " or " dus." And finally, you have sprouted teeth!!! Two, little, pearly whites on the bottom. Very cute and good job buddy. We love you sooooo much!
(top 3 pics from grandma. ;)
